REFLECTION

Experience
This is my first time taking a typesetting class, and I have never been exposed to this aspect of design before. Everything about typesetting classes is a completely new experience for me, and it is a significant challenge. I really enjoy the project of designing my own font in the end, it's very interesting.

Observations
In these 14 weeks, I have gone from my initial simple impression of typesetting. I now understand that typesetting refers to organizing and arranging elements such as text and images according to certain rules and artistic principles. Typography is an important design technique that focuses on the layout of text and other visual elements on a page or screen, font selection, line spacing, font spacing, paragraph spacing, and other arrangements and combinations to create an orderly, easy to read, and aesthetically pleasing visual effect.

Findings
Over the course of these 14 weeks of classes, I've come to appreciate the need for meticulous attention in the realm of design. Typography, in particular, has taught me that even the most subtle adjustments—be it a slight tilt, a variation in size, or minute alterations—can yield vastly different visual effects.

By carefully studying different works and pondering the subtle differences in their design choices, i can gain rich knowledge. Typography seems to be more than just creating aesthetically pleasing arrangements; it is an ongoing learning process
